	Wayne Kelder Highway Superintendent
A life-long resident of our Town, Wayne and his wife Elizabeth have three children. Wayne is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Wayne owned and successfully operated Jaway Farm in our town for 39 years. He believes in community involvement. He was a member of the Rondout Valley Central School Board for 18 years, serving as President and Charter Member of the Kerhonkson-Accord First Aid Squad, member of the Rochester Reformed Church, President of the Ulster County Dairy Farmer's, past President of Dairlea Local Committee, member of the Accord Fire Company and member of the Dairy Shrine Club. Wayne is accountable and responsible. He has been Highway Superintendent for the past 18 years and has demonstrated his ability to lead the Highway Department and to successfully maintain our highways. Be it rain, snow, sleet, hail or floods, Wayne is always on the job. He understands the necessity for safe roads and the need to accomplish more with less.
