Robin Yess elected Ulster County GOP Chair

Two days after the September 14th primaries — and the upset victories — the Ulster County Republican Committee made history by electing its first woman Chair, Robin Yess.

It's a good year for Republicans and a very good year for Republican women. We wish Robin Yess the strength, determination, and courage to do what she plans to do.

At the same event, the outgoing UC GOP Chairman Mario Catalano decried the fact that at the NY State Republican Convention "deals have been brokered." What a change of heart! We all remember these statements in Kingston Times:

"Catalano, after cooking a deal with Bernardo to guarantee his wife, Terry Bernardo, a seat in the legislature..."

"The Catalano-Bernardo deal
