To the Editor:
With help from weekenders, and by shameless manipulation of elders and women, the Democrats got elected in the Town of Rochester.
I've spent 33 years under the Communist boot, and still I'm horrified at the threatening atmosphere created by the viciously partisan Town Board led by Supervisor Duke. We should give credit where credit is due: they did an excellent job of sucking the joy out of living around here.
Those holding opposing views are painted as divisive and negative elements, political cleansing is rampant, committees are stuffed with weekenders, reverse discrimination is the norm, mediocrity trumps excellence.
When the town needs volunteers, Republicans need not apply. The recent ambush of Manuela Mihailescu is just one example of Town Board's modus operandi. Luckily, they botched the execution.
Max Finestone calls the "Gutless-Brainless-Heartless" editorial cartoon "out of line," no matter if the Town Board was "right or wrong," and then pops the most moronic question of the year: "Was the cartoonist there?"
Were you there, Mr. Finestone? Oh, you're taking the Fifth again...
